Journal #5

 Nancy Clutter’s friends go to the house and find Nancy upstairs, dead from a shotgun blast to the head. all four Clutters have been brutally murdered, the children and Bonnie with a shotgun, and Herb Clutter with a knife to the throat. the police dont find much evidence but only two sets of boot prints, and the materials used to tie up the victims. i was shocked by the murders.

Journal #4

 My reaction to Dick and Perry is supervised. I didn’t think they were going to be the bad guys so my reaction changed the more I read. Perry is conscious of the situation and the chance to criticize, and Dick is confident, almost to the point of carelessness. The difference between the two men is Perry’s always making more opportunities and checking himself against a harsh world, and Dicks carefree, not often aware of the possible consequences of his actions. I feel like they aren’t awful people but that they just get caught up in a bad situation at the bad time and don’t think correctly.

Journal #3

Miriam was one of Capote s earlier stories, so in a way they were lot alike in  a mysterious brain bottling way but Capote had gotten less traditional fiction over the years. I don't really like the story so far because its not interesting. The books just weird and written in  like hard proper English so you have to reread everything twice.

Journal 2

My goals for this class are to stay on task and not fail this class.I also hope to achieve a good grade in this class like a A+. I want to not get on contract at all and try to attend school as much as possible. These goals are important to me because i want to get somewhere with my life and go to a good college and get a good job. i plan to achieve them by not messing around and keeping up to date on all my assignments and to not skip or miss school days. You can help by teaching me and not giving alot of work.
